4400th Combat Training Crew Squadron Planes
The 4400th CTCS, was known as "Jungle Jim" and deployed to South Vietnam in November 1961 to carry out a mission designate as Farm Gate. The units principal fighter was the TF-28, shown here at Bien Hoa shortly after arrival.

A section of Wings Through Time by Robert Emerson Bell
The artwork was created for the 50th anniversary of the USAF. The art was a graphic look down" view of virtually every airplane type from the Wright Flyer to the F-22, ever in the Air Force and its predecessor Army organizations inventory. All are depicted in relative scale and positioned approximately when they came into service along a 1 to the year timeline.
